The UFRLP has contracted with Nelson Jones, PLLC to provide the same elite police legal services that they have given Utah FOP members for the last decade. Providing legal benefits associated with a comprehensive pre-paid legal plan, offered to a very select and defined group of individuals, is not new to the attorneys at Nelson Jones.

Indeed, since 2012 the attorneys at Nelson Jones have successfully administered and provided legal services to members of a similarly structured legal plan for law enforcement officers throughout the State of Utah. Since the inception of the Utah State Fraternal Order of Police Legal Plan (the "Plan"), more than 3,500 sworn police officers have joined the Plan to access the comprehensive legal benefits offered exclusively to sworn law enforcement officers in Utah.

The significant growth of the Plan over the last seven years is due, in large part, to the unparalleled legal services provided to members of the Plan by the attorneys at Nelson Jones. The firm, over the last seven years, has saved countless careers and effectively changed the legal landscape for sworn law enforcement officers in the State of Utah to the point that certain licensing bodies within the State of Utah have resorted to seeking legislative changes to the law. Nelson Jones has also appealed multiple cases to the Utah Court of Appeals, who overturned the rulings of several administrative tribunals. The attorneys at Nelson Jones are excited for the opportunity to exact change in relation to issues uniquely facing real estate professionals in Utah.
